Schedules.... the age old question. Our kids were never on any schedules. They slept when they were tired. You could try to put your child in their crib and see if they fall asleep. Rock them to sleep, give them a bottle right before nap time.
My 4 month old usually takes an hour nap from 9-10AM and then again from noon until 3. Lately though he has only been sleeping like 30 minutes at a time. How can I get him back on schedule?

Maybe a little more activity before laying him down would help. Or eating as suggested. Some babies just don't like to sleep at all though. I had one of those who what up every hour day and night, so I understand.
He does eat right before bed and all other times of the day and night but that doesn't help keep him asleep anymore. Today was better he actually took 3 separate hour long naps. That is way better than his 10 30 minute ones lately.
That is wonderful, it sounds like he is making some progress. I would pay very attention to the things that happen on the days he is taking the long naps and try to make sure to repeat them. Hang in there!
He seems to like sleeping in the stroller quite a bit so we have been taking walks and playing outside with his older sister at nap time so he sleeps while she plays. It is working at least until the weather changes.
You could be like me and just keep the stroller up all the time. I even moved all my furniture around so I could take it around my house with me! Why not!
It is not right to put the baby to sleep only by walking him around in the stroller. It becomes a bad habit and you will have difficulty with this later on. Give him time - by 6 months he will settle into a routine and will sleep better. Right now he is finding his bearings and looking for his own routine.
I try not to nap, since I did too much in school and it wrecked my sleep schedule.
