Babies are different when it comes to sleeping time. What you stated might be true with some babies but not all. Some babies have a regular time of sleeping but sometimes the sleeping time is daytime and they awake at night.
I noticed that babies have irregular sleeping time. Sometimes they are awake at night and sometimes they aren't. How can we make their sleep become regular so parents can sleep at night?

We can teach babies to sleep according to our schedule it takes time and skill to do this. Playing with the baby at daytime will keep them awake during the day. The baby will have no choice but to sleep at night.
Babies take time to settle down to a sleep pattern. Once they begin to regulate their feeding schedules, they begin to also regulate their sleep patterns. A regular sleep at night seems to come into force only after they are 2 to 3 months old. Also once they stop their midnight feed around 6 months - they sleep longer hours at night.
Babies have their own rhythms and there is an old saying which says that a new mother should go to sleep whenever the baby sleeps. This is only because that is the only time she is going to get any rest!! They have to learn the ways of the world and this is one of their learning curves
