Make bedtime a special time for children

If you spend sometime with your children before they go to sleep and also make sure that their schedule of sleeping is maintained then you will find that they will sleep much better. Children love to have stories read out to them before they sleep, or just have their parents tuck them into bed. This makes it easier to get them to go to bed at an early hour.

Bedtime should be bonding time between a parent and a child. It is a time which is special for both of them - and where no one else can intrude. Enjoy it, and let it become a part of your child's memories. It will also give you the added bonus that they will sleep better after you have been with them.

Yeah, very true. Children do get good sleep when they find the company of elders on bed. Yes, telling stories to them is a good idea. This improves their concentration and also helps them in sleeping faster.

Bedtime is the real bonding time between parents and children. Children need more attention and comfort at that time. So, make it a special time every day with your kids.

Bedtime always includes a story, often times the same story as always. They like a schedule, and patterns. Keep them on the same ritual and they will sleep better and feel less stressed.
