Thread: Embarassing Dreams

Yup I'm sure we have all had the one where we were walking naked. I once was going to the supermarket in the dream and while I was walking towards it I suddenly realized that I was walking in my boxers. Needless to say that I was more than embarrassed at the time and the dream felt very real, so it was even worse at the time

There have been occasions when we woken up and been thankful that it was a dream. I was happy to wake up from a dream where I was serving only burnt food to my friends and all of them were laughing and complaining about it. Thankfully it has not happened in real life as yet.

The naked dream is a classic. I've also had an embarassing dream where I couldn't answer simple questions in front of people. I was getting things like what is 2+2 and getting it repeatedly wrong in front of, i think it was a lecture hall or some such.

Even I had couple of naked type dreams. It was so embarrassing in the dream. Well, I always wanted to know what this naked dream means. Hope someone here can post good and rational explanation to why we see naked dreams.

In response to the OP and shub, naked dreams are often an expression of a lack of self-confidence or a reflection of an event that might have caused decreased self-confidence, such as failing a test or doing badly on a presentation at work. These can be common in individuals with a chronic lack of self-confidence.

I'd have to agree. It's like the easiest way to represent the feeling of no confidence by feeling exposed.

The naked dreams are always hilarious to wake up to. I've only had one. But the explanation makes so much sense.
