    I also read that sleeping around 6.5 hours to 7.5 hours is best for your body. Research has shown that if you sleep more than 8 hours and less than 6 hours you are not as likely to live as long as someone sleeping betwen 6.5 and 7.5 hours. If you are sleeping longer than that at night, try taking a 15 to 30 minute nap during the early afternoon if you can.

    actually you should ask more correctly what is the right amount based on age. If you google that together with age you will see that children require far more sleep than adults. And the older you get the less sleep you need.

    Getting the right amount of sleep depends on several different factors including age, and gender.

    Everything is individual, 'cause I need no less than 7 hours to feel ok.
