A sleep of 6-7 hour is good for the health but taking sleep more than these is very bad for the health. A long sleep disturb al the function of the organ. A long sleep will makes our whole day waste. By doing work late at night will also becomes the reason of long sleep.
I think a good sleep might be longer. Doctors recommend at least and 8 hour sleeping period for adults, and even more for kids because they need more sleep. Children are recommended to get at least 10 hours of sleep a night. Getting less might stunt their growth, so I would be careful with 6-7 hours.
