    Foods and drinks that prevent a good night's sleep

    I feel that when I have any kind of fish at night - I am unable to sleep comfortably. My friends say this is only psychosomatic - but it really and truly happens. Does anyone else have this kind of problem with anything they eat. My solution - of course is to just avoid fish at night.

    Coffee bothers me a lot - sometimes even a cup of tea taken at night gives me a sleepless night. But on the other hand a glass of nice hot milk can lead to a peaceful night of sleep, waking up feeling refreshed. But I have not found anything else that I eat which can cause me problems.

    There are many vegetables which lead to a bloated feeling hence they make sleep difficult. Just note down what you ate the night before when you are not able to sleep and you will be surprised to find that this recurs when certain items are eaten or drunk. Just avoiding them at night helps to sleep better.

    To get good sleep I always drink warm milk at night just before going to bed. Also, I always take some rice or sweet in my dinner apart from other dishes. These two things give me proper sleep. In the morning I feel fresh.

    Even I agree. Warm milk helps in giving good sleep at night. I usually take milk at night and then I find myself getting good sleep and waking up fresh in the morning. Many people don't prefer eating rice at night so I may not suggest that it is necessary to have it to get good sleep.

    I used to drink tea before going to bed. It provide me a nice good sleep. a rice is a nice food .It is light food and also good for the health. Both these thing provide me a nice sleep.
