Yeah it does happen in kids quite a bit. For many years this was not a recognized fact. There has been some research about behavioral problems and they have discovered a link between sleep apnea and some other common issues.
How frequent is sleep apnea in kids? Do they make the masks for kids too? I know that one of my kids snores a whole lot. I have been meaning to stay up and listen to it to see if there sleep apnea symptoms.

I can see how not getting enough sleep and having sleep apnea could seriously effect a child in a negative way. Children need solid sleep so they can grow and develop properly. More research needs to be done on this.

I never thought of children when I thought of sleep apnea. My son has never been a sleeper, he is always up. Children do need sleep.
