    What doctor should I see

My husband has been telling me that I scare him when I sometimes stop breathing at night and then gasp for air. I don't even realize that I am doing it. Is this something that my primary doctor takes care of? I know they do a sleep study but I don't know what they do during this tests? I wonder if the insurance will cover it.

You would probably need to talk with your insurance agent to see if your insurance will cover it. If I was you I would go straight to a sleep specialist and let them do the tests and diagnosis. They have more experience working with these types of problems than just a family doctor does.

and once you have chosen the insurance you want to take, just make sure that they have good terms and conditions. you should always check if your health insurance can be used by your whole family because in that way, things will be more convenient.

Yeah immediately consult a sleep specialist doctor who will surely be able to guide you with proper treatment to it. Moreover, it is not a serious thing so don't worry too much. It is normal to many people.
