Sleep deprivation can be of various types. Most of us have at some stage of our lives suffered from sleep deprivation - basically a lack of sleep. i have always been sleep deprived when i was still in school (now i rarely experience it because i try my best to get as much sleep as i can since i am in a gap year travel planning stage anyway) so it was really tough. i was sickly, my immune system was weak and i am always irritable. it was tough.
As someone who is running on 3 hours of sleep right now, I can assure you that your thoughts won't be as clear. This is especially difficult if you're a student, or at work. For me, the most common symptoms are; headaches, anxiety, poor vision/speech, and feeling upset/angered easily.
