    need advice for staying alseep

    hello everybody.

    I have been waking up in the early hours of the morning for a while now month or longer and its been really annoying I can't see why I can't just sleep like I used to.
    I have been really tired particly during the afternoon and I am constantly late for school as well and I can't play sport as I used too so please help me with this really annoying problem I have never had insomnia like this before and could sleep well
    so any help will be appreciated =D

    I've tried doing lots exercise, having a hot shower and bath before bed and doing relaxing stuff such as reading I have also been taking natural sleep tablets which contain these ingredients per tabletl;
    Valerian 1.3g, Valerenic acid 2.6mg, Licorice(Glycyrrhiza glabra root and stolon 50mg, Glycyrrhiza acid 2.5mg and each tablet contains 6.4mg magnesium.

    I take two of them and hour to half an hour before I go to bed. They are ment to help you fall to sleep but I don't think they help you stay asleep I've tried taking them when I wake up but doesn't really help =..(..

    I've talked to a docter he said he doesn't wan't to give me sleeping tablets at my age so and not sure what to do he said hopefully Its just something I will get over as time goes by.

    Please help!!

    Hey, it sounds like you're on the right path with exercising and the hot showers. There are other things that may be affecting your ability to stay asleep such as diet. There's a website that has some really good articles on how to achieve better sleep patterns. Its isleepbetter.com. You might want to check it out!

    Good luck!
