How is Narcolepsy Diagnosed. I suppose I am wondering what the steps are from start to finish. If you think you might have it and go to the Dr what happens? What kinds of tests are run?

One thing that you have to keep in mind is that diagnosis can take a very very very long time. So if you think you have it or know someone who does go to a Dr and seek help right away.
This test sound very expensive. I wonder if insurances would pay for them. Especially if this is a problem that is very difficult to diagnose.
After reading the symptoms, it is a perfect description of my aunt's problem. The sad thing is that she has been going to doctor's for years and they have never diagnosed her.
